Installation Notes

for v9.2.0+ on Windows:

1. Download and install Wondershare Filmora.
2. Copy the unlocked files to installation folder (and overwrite)
3. Done

for v9.1.x- on Windows:

1. Download and install the latest version of Wondershare Filmora from official site
2. Add the following lines to your hosts file:
   • 127.0.0.1 cbs.wondershare.com
   • 127.0.0.1 www.cbs.wondershare.com
   • 127.0.0.1 platform.wondershare.com
   • 127.0.0.1 www.wondershare.com
3. Copy the unlocked file to installation folder and overwrite; or enter “Help/Offline Activation“, and use the universal activation code above to register

for v8.7.0 on Mac:

1. First of all, disable your Internet connection temporarily
2. Install Wondershare Filmora, and launch program
3. Use your firewall to block all outgoing connections from Filmora (if not works, includes Google and Google Analytics too)

Warning

• We just found that Wondershare has started to inject Windows with various background monitoring and data collecting processes that are started compulsively at startup. The solution is to disable Wondershare from starting any process, and disable all its Internet accessing activities. For example:
  • hasplms.exe
  • hasplmv.exe
• Solution:
  1. Run CMD as administrator, and execute the following commands:
     • sc stop “hasplms”
     • sc config “hasplms” start=disabled
     • sc delete “hasplms”
  2. Delete the above two files (under C:\Windows\System32\)
  3. Done
